Jean-Charles Douin
Ron Mock, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), is pleased to announce the promotion of Jean-Charles Douin to Managing Director, Private Capital for Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Mr. Douin joined Ontario Teachers' London office in 2008, at its formation stage, after an early career in investment banking and private equity. Since then he has been a major contributor to the investment strategy and success of Ontario Teachers' Private Capital team in Europe and has overseen the execution of nine transactions (including Ontario Teachers' recent investments in Memora and European Camping Group). He currently holds board positions in several companies, including Helly Hansen, Busy Bees and OGF
Mr. Douin holds a Master's degree and diploma from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Paris. He heads the Private Capital team in London reporting to Jo Taylor, Senior Managing Director, International.
