Participation guidelines for Q&A

To ensure a respectful and informative meeting, we ask everyone to adhere to the following:

1. Kindly introduce yourself

Kindly introduce yourself by name and note if you are a working or retired teacher before asking a question. 

2. One question at a time, at 60 seconds or less

To help us maximize the areas of interest we address, we ask that you raise one question at a time and keep your question to 60 seconds or less. When your question has been answered, please return to the back of the line if you have another question.

3. Avoid repetition

To ensure a wide range of topics are covered, please avoid asking questions previously asked by other members.

4. No questions about personal benefits

To protect your privacy, we will not answer questions about your personal benefits. Talk to a Pension Benefits Specialist at the AM Members’ Lounge or visit our Member Help Centre online.

5. Respectful conduct

We expect and will provide a respectful tone of discussion. Name calling, shouting and other disruptive behaviors will not be tolerated.

Check-in guidelines 

For the comfort of all guests, only small purses and bags will be permitted. Please do not bring large items. You will be asked to check backpacks, laptop bags and other large items. Bag check will be available free of charge.
